Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust MIS frameworks to support business
- Ensure timely and accurate generation of reports, dashboards, and analytics for senior
- Collating, preparing and interpreting MIS reports like MIS- short, MIS- detailed,
- Monthly/Quarterly Projections, Daily MIS, Expense variances, Revenue Tracker etc,
- budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements.
- Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets.
- Analyse market trends, financial data, and performance metrics to provide
- Prepare and present detailed reports on market operations, trading activities, and
- financial performance on an ongoing basis.
- Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making
- Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.
- III. Budgeting, Forecasting and Strategic Support:
- Provide Variance analysis report of Budgets Vs. Actuals.
- Support in strategic decision-making by providing high-quality, data-driven insights
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the formulation and
- Track and closely monitor developments in the power trading industry, including
- regulatory changes, market trends and emerging technologies.
- Track, analyse and report on competitor s activities, strategies and market positioning
- and industry dynamics to provide insights.
- Work closely with all functional Heads of Departments (HODs) to gather data
- requirements and ensure seamless integration of information.
- Co-ordinating and extending the required support for preparations related to Board
- Meetings, Audit committee meetings, Technology Advisory Committee meetings, Risk
- Key Skills and Competencies:
- Familiar with understanding of regulatory frameworks in the energy markets.
- Should have experience in Financial Modelling, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools & software (e.g., Advanced Excel and Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of energy markets and financial principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Effective follow-up and time management skills.
