Job Description
This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise the entire production process, ensuring products meet company standards and deadlines.
- Establish and enforce production schedules, quality control measures, and maintenance protocols to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and design, to harmonise operations and promote seamless workflow integration.
- Monitor and refine production processes, introducing improvements and innovative solutions as needed.
- Manage team members, providing necessary training and development opportunities to maintain a highly skilled workforce.
- Enforce all health and safety regulations within the machine shop.
- Generate regular reports on key production metrics, including efficiency, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a Production Head or similar role within a machine shop environment.
- Thorough knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and production layout.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
