Polaris Smart Metering - Python Developer - Django Framework (3-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable software solutions.

- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to understand and implement requirements.

- Develop back-end components to enhance system performance and responsiveness.

- Write clean, reusable, efficient code and participate in regular code reviews.

- Integrate user-facing components with server-side logic.

- Collaborate with teams to implement security and data protection solutions.

Minimum Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

- Strong knowledge of Python (Django or similar frameworks).

- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

- Solid understanding of programming best practices.

- Proficiency in version control tools (Git, Mercurial, SVN).

- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Fluency in English for effective communication with global teams.

- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with 4 hours overlap with US time zones.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with machine learning and AI algorithms.

- Familiarity with AWS, cloud computing services, and big data technologies.

- Strong database knowledge (schemas, ORMs).

- Agile software development experience.

Required Expertise :

- 3-5 years of experience with Python, focusing on clean and efficient coding.

- Proven ability to lead small teams (3-5 developers), mentor junior members, and ensure timely project delivery.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and quality assurance skills.

- Adept at conflict resolution, resource management, and effective communication with stakeholders.
