Technical Manager- Bangalore(currently WFH)

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead our technical teams and oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

1. Lead technical teams, including software engineers, developers, and QA engineers.

2. Define and implement technical strategies and architectures.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.

4. Ensure alignment with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Project Management

1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

2. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocation.

3. Identify and mitigate technical risks.

4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Team Development

1. Mentor and develop technical team members.

2. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

3. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

4. Recruit and hire top technical talent.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

1. Communicate technical vision and strategy to stakeholders.

2. Collaborate with business leaders to understand business requirements.

3. Develop and maintain technical documentation.

4. Present technical updates to executive leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills

1. 5+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or related field.

2. Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).

3. Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

4. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Leadership and Management

1. 5+ years of experience managing technical teams.

2. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

3. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).

4. Ability to manage conflict and negotiate resolutions.

Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (optional).

Certifications

1. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Agile Practitioner (CAPM) (optional).

2. ITIL or PMP certification (optional).
