Podar Education Network is seeking a dynamic and motivated Admission Counselor at our Kankavli location.

This full-time, junior-level position requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in guiding prospective students and parents through the admission process.

The candidate will play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver quality education and shaping the future of our students.

Qualifications And Skills.

Proven experience as an admission or education counselor, demonstrating expertise in student admissions and guidance (Mandatory skill).

Prior experience of 1-3 years in a similar role, effectively counseling students and parents through the admission process.

Proficiency in student counseling techniques and methods to support students effectively in their educational journey.

Strong communication skills, able to convey information clearly and persuasively to students and parents alike.

Capability to handle inquiries and provide relevant information regarding admission procedures and educational programs.

Skillset to work collaboratively with teachers and administrative staff to ensure the seamless integration of new students.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to students and admissions.

Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is typically required for this role.

Roles And Responsibilities

Guide prospective students and parents through the admission process, providing them with necessary information and support.

Evaluate and process student applications, ensuring compliance with the institution's admission criteria.

Organize and conduct interviews, tours, and information sessions for prospective students and their families.

Liaise with different educational departments to facilitate the admission process and coordinate information sessions.

Maintain updated records of student interactions and admissions status.

Provide ongoing support to students from inquiry through to admission and enrollment.

Promote and adhere to the institutions ethos, values, and regulations.
