Senior Content Writer (US Writing Style)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of writing high-quality, engaging content for US-based websites and audiences. If you have 6+ years of experience in content writing, with a focus on producing impactful content for US clients, wed love to hear from you. Knowledge of the podcasting industry is a plus. Video interview script writing, Podcast show notes etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create compelling, audience-targeted content for our website, landing pages, blogs, case studies, and social media platforms.
• Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and quality in all content pieces.
• Tailor content to match the tone and expectations of US audiences, including a deep understanding of US culture, language nuances, and market trends.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to produce content that aligns with business goals and brand voice.
• Optimize content for SEO to drive organic traffic and increase search engine rankings.
• Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and consistency to meet PodUps quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and podcasting.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a content writer, with substantial experience working with US clients.
• Demonstrable portfolio of published work specifically written for US websites (links or samples required).
• Proven experience in writing for digital platforms, with strong skills in SEO content creation and marketing copy.
• Excellent research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to adapt to different tones and styles based on project requirements.
• Strong understanding of US culture and market to effectively connect with a US-based audience.
• Knowledge of the podcasting industry is a plus.
