Senior Manager - FP&A

Purpose:

To be part of the financial planning and analytics (FP&A) function of the Company and would be having the platform to monitor and build analytics around the financial performance of the business. Work closely with various teams across the company to proactively provide financial insights, driver-based variance analysis, evaluating business case for new initiatives and work on annual business plan. Responsible for producing time sensitive information and provide actionable data that will assist Senior Management.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of annual business plan (AOP)
• Tracking of AOP against actual performance
• Build forecasts & present variances with management
• Should be able to conduct financial modelling and do variance analysis
• Deliver incisive and timely reporting of financial and operational results
• Evaluation on business cases for new initiatives (cost-benefit analysis)
• Building presentations for senior management (monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc)
• Competition benchmarking of company with peers in the industry
• Automation of manual processes and files

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA / CA with 7-10 years of experience preferably in the insurance sector
• Expertise in database management and financial modelling
• Strong competency in MS office (Excel, Word and Power point)
• Relevant knowledge of accounting systems and accounting laws/policies
• Working knowledge of Macros/VBA and Oracle ERP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
