Position Overview:

The Production Head (Manager) will oversee the operations of the Liquid Malt Extract Plant at our Gurugram facility. The role is focused on ensuring high-quality production, optimizing processes, and managing a skilled team. This position demands strong leadership, extensive experience in production management, and a deep understanding of liquid malt extract production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the liquid malt extract plant, ensuring efficient production processes.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain and Quality Assurance, to maximize plant and machinery utilization.
• Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the production of high-quality liquid malt extract that meets customer specifications and industry standards.
• Address and reduce customer complaints by upholding best-in-class food safety standards.
• Ensure environmental compliance and maintain safe working conditions.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve production processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Implement best practices and operational excellence initiatives to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Work closely with the Quality Head and plant Head to ensure process changes do not compromise product quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of production professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive team growth.
• Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the team's skills and competencies.
• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to within the plant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management, with at least 7 years in a plant or production head role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Deep understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
