Position Title: Chief Marketing Officer
Reports to Chief Executive Officer
Location: Hyderabad
Job Overview:
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at PMJ Jewels will play a key role in shaping the company's brand, driving marketing strategy, and overseeing the execution of all marketing activities. This individual will be responsible for creating a comprehensive marketing plan to elevate PMJ Jewels' market position and brand visibility both domestically and internationally. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CMO will work closely with other departments to develop and implement strategies that promote growth, customer loyalty, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for PMJ Jewels that aligns with the company's vision, goals, and target market.
- Drive brand awareness and market positioning through integrated marketing campaigns (online and offline) that resonate with the target audience.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of the annual marketing budget, ensuring that all marketing activities are cost-effective and aligned with revenue targets.
- Lead the strategic direction of PMJ Jewels' social media, advertising, and content marketing efforts.
Brand Management:
- Strengthen and evolve PMJ Jewels' brand identity by maintaining consistency across all marketing materials, platforms, and communication channels.
- Ensure that all marketing communications reflect the brand's values, vision, and luxury image.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape insights that inform branding strategies.
Digital Marketing & E-commerce:
- Spearhead the digital transformation efforts to ensure the company has a robust online presence, including website management, SEO, and e-commerce strategies.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising, influencer partnerships, and content creation to drive online engagement, lead generation, and conversions.
- Optimize online customer journey and experience to improve conversion rates and maximize lifetime value.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing department, encouraging new ideas and strategies.
- Provide leadership in the creation and management of cross-functional teams to implement integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Develop strategies to build and nurture long-term customer relationships through loyalty programs, personalized marketing, and exceptional customer experiences.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to engage with high-net-worth individuals and target markets.
- Oversee the management of customer feedback and brand perception to continuously improve customer satisfaction and retention.
Partnerships & PR:
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other strategic partners to amplify brand visibility.
- Oversee the execution of PR campaigns, influencer collaborations, and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with brand values and objectives.
- Manage events, product launches, and luxury showcases to enhance brand recognition and attract new customers.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing campaigns to ensure effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
- Regularly present detailed marketing reports to the CEO and other stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Use data to continuously refine and optimize marketing strategies, improving overall performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: MBA is a must.
- Experience: At least 15+ years of experience in marketing, with a significant portion in the luxury goods, fashion, or jewellery industry.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading a diverse marketing team and managing high-level marketing strategies.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand management, and content strategy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with the luxury and high-end consumer market, particularly in jewellery.
- Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong network within the fashion, luxury, or jewellery industries is a plus.
