Pluralsight - Senior DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes (10-13 yrs)

Job Description :

A Senior DevOps Engineer builds and maintains infrastructure that supports the product. They use DevOps/SRE, systems administration, and software development to influence product architecture and evolution by crafting reliable cloud-based infrastructure for internal and external services.

They partner with software development to curate Developer self-service tools and systems to empower our continuous deployment environment.

Who you're committed to being :

- Diagnose and debug production incidents and then improve systems to prevent the problem from recurring

- Monitor our environments, servers, and applications for health, performance and security

- Collaborate with teammates to research, address technical needs and roadmap and develop new solutions

- Mentor junior engineers

What you'll do :

- Design, maintain and improve automation in a way that promotes Developer self-service.

- Excellent communication skills, ability to partner with product and design, and collaborate on multi-functional teams

- Experience working with container deployment and orchestration technologies with knowledge of fundamentals including service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, and load balancing

Experience you'll bring :

- Exposure to Gitlab and/or New Relic preferred

- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and Docker preferred

Requirements :

- Requires a minimum of 10 years of related or equivalent experience

- Extensive experience in a DevOps capacity

- Experience with AWS Cloud services like EC2, RDS, S3

- Build CI/CD orchestration.

- Experience with Terraform, K8's and Gitlab, good Understanding of MSK Kafka

Travel Requirements :

- While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important.

- Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
