Roles and Responsibilities:-

Design and implement new features for our Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality code

Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience across various devices

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android development and incorporate them into our projects

Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance team productivity

Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane for automated builds and deployments

Utilize Hilt/Dagger2 for dependency injection

Experience and Qualifications:-

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

6+ years of professional experience in Android development

Proficiency in Kotlin programming language

Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs

Familiarity with RoomDatabase for local data storage

Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and other relevant libraries

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Must have the ability to understand and fix existing codebase

Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mobile development

Nice to have

Experience with other Android technologies such as Retrofit, Flow, RoomDB, Coroutines, and LiveData

Knowledge of KMP / KMM

WebView integrations on Android apps

Working with native app sensors

Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcased on GitHub

Familiarity with other CI/CD tools and platforms

Understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles

Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso or Mockito
