About the Role:

- This role represents a comprehensive accounting position that combines hands-on financial operations with statutory compliance responsibilities.

- The ideal candidate would serve as a key member of the finance team, managing day-to-day accounting activities in Zoho Books while ensuring adherence to Indian tax regulations through timely filing of GST returns, TDS, and other statutory dues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist auditors during internal, statutory, and tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

- Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B accurately and on time to ensure compliance with GST regulations.

- Ensure timely remittance of statutory dues such as TDS, PF, and PT, along with the filing of Quarterly TDS returns.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including prepaid expenses, provisions, cash flow statement preparation, and expense MIS reporting.

- Perform periodic vendor and ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing weekly payment runs, salary disbursements, generating tax invoices, and recording transactions in Zoho Books.

Experience and Qualifications:.

CA with 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable.

Proficiency in Zoho Books for accounting and financial reporting.

Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.

Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.
