Containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience managing team members in remote / distributed teams and projects. The Opportunity Our Product Development organization is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead, inspire, unblock, and optimize the delivery of a development team. If you are someone who has managerial experience, great people skills and recent hands-on technical experience to help their team find process issues and remove bottlenecks to make our development efforts more effective, we encourage you to apply. What Youll Bring Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a professional with experience in leading engineering team, and designing and implementing scalable software systems. You are a collaborative team player who is calm, optimistic, and creative in solving software delivery challenges. Preferred Qualifications Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise: 5+ years of experience leading a software development team. Design and architecting software modules. Work experience with Java, and its idioms and design patterns. Technical acumen to deep-dive into challenges and can lead technical discussions with technical team members and enable teams to solve problems. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills. Led and helped to evolve a collaborative and productive software engineering team. Process and project management skills, such as Agile scrum or Kanban, etc. Experience as an individual technical contributor in their career.
