Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Planning & Billing

Cost Estimation & Billing:

• Preparation of cost estimates and estimation of Engineering Services Requirements (ESR) for road infrastructure projects. •Preparation and submission of client billing based on BOQ and project progress. •Checking and certification of bills and invoices submitted by vendors and contractors. •Analysis of variation claims by contractors/vendors and facilitating closure of the same.

Project Coordination & Planning:

• Coordinating project activities, including progress monitoring, billing, and estimation. •Preparing and maintaining detailed project planning documents, including BOM, BOQ, and cost estimates. •Preparation of monthly project analysis statements (Budgeted vs. Achieved) and cost comparison (Planned vs. Actual). •Monitoring and preparing monthly physical and financial project statements. •Tracking and maintaining the status of R.A. bills on a monthly basis.

Contract Administration:

• Administering contracts on-site and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. •Ensuring that all work is carried out according to the companys protocols and guidelines. •Assisting in the management of subcontractor billing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Reconciliation & Reporting:

• Preparation of reconciliation statements for all major materials of the projects on a weekly and monthly basis. •Continuous monitoring and preparation of compiled cycle time statements on both a daily and monthly basis. •Preparing regular progress reports, tracking project status, and highlighting key issues.

Tools and Software Utilization:

• Hands-on experience with MS Project or Primavera for planning, scheduling, and reporting purposes. •Familiarity with SAP for managing project-related financials and procurement processes is advantageous.

Site Measurement & Data Collection:

• Collaborating with site engineers to take accurate measurements for billing and estimation. •Ensuring accurate documentation of on-site work progress for billing purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. •Proven experience (6+) as a Billing and Planning Engineer in road infrastructure projects. •Proficient in cost estimation, project planning, and construction billing. •Strong understanding of BOQ, BOM, and cost estimation procedures. •Strong proficiency in MS Project or Primavera for project scheduling. •Knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
