Job Description

As an Associate - Admissions at Plaksha University, your key responsibilities will include recruiting, evaluating, and selecting candidates through a rigorous process while maintaining the highest standards of conduct, attention to detail and confidentiality.

• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating applications, conducting thorough reviews of transcripts, application forms, and interviews for shortlisted candidates.
• Ensure timely data updates in the admissions system, maintain relevant trackers, and ensure all processes are consistently followed.
• Assist in the coordination of work allocation within the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with faculty members to streamline admissions-related interactions.
• Track student acceptances, manage waitlists, and ensure final enrollment targets are met.
• Provide timely and accurate data, reports, and insights on admission statistics for management review and decision-making.
• Actively participate in campus events such as open houses, outreach, and retention initiatives to enhance student recruitment.
• Contribute to student recruitment, retention, and success initiatives at the campus and school levels, aligning with Plaksha's innovative educational goals.
• Apply a Diversity Equity and Inclusion lens to all aspects of your work, ensuring fair and equitable admissions processes.

Experience and Education

• Bachelors Degree (B. Tech)
• 2-3 years of experience.

Skills

• Excellent organization, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and deal with issues/challenges in administrative operations.
• Working knowledge of standard office software, including Microsoft Office
