Sap B1 Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Team Management:

• Responsible for delivery of the engagements in consulting as per agreed terms and firms quality standards.

• Manage a team of Seniors and ensure delivery of the consulting engagements - including providing process solution in SAP B1, Finalizing To-be, Implementing proposed solution within SAP B1

• Plan & schedule client engagements. Determine and deploy the solutions and handle the team with adequate skill sets for executing the engagement and periodically review status of engagement.

• Mapping business requirements to technical and functional requirements within SAP B1 and coordinate with vendor as a part of the broader transformation requirements

Client Management:

• Executive-level skills in client relationship management and the hold conversations with senior executives.

• Excellent client communication and meeting presentation to be done

. • Contribute to new solution development based on the industry trends and clients problem statement

• Create innovative insights for clients, adapts methods & practices to fit operational team needs & contributes to thought leadership documents.

Operational Excellence:

• Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service.

• Manage engagement budgets and ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality standards

People related:

• Display teamwork, integrity and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation.
• Utilize technology & tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.
• Conduct workshops and technical training sessions for team members. Contribute to the learning & development agenda and knowledge harnessing initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Consultant with a strong background in SAP B1 and a proven track record in process improvement and ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, consulting experience, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in SAP B1.

• Proven expertise in consulting, ERP implementation, process improvement, or business process reengineering.

• Candidates can be from o ERP implementation professionals who have implemented SAP B1 solutions o Process improvement consultants or managers from t h e industry (exposure to finance and processes in any industry)

• Added advantage if already worked in the Food Industry

• Strong project management skills and ability to build relationships with executive-level client employees.

• Experience managing teams as a consulting manager/leader.

• Cognitive problem-solving skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a calm demeanor in handling complex situations.

• Exceptional command of spoken and written English and Hindi.
