Senior Embedded Multimedia Architect

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technically lead the Embedded Multimedia Software application development, help resolve technical complex issues, etc.
• Multimedia streaming application development (Linux platform preferred)
• Experience in one or more of the following: Audio-Video codecs specifically H264/H265, AV1 (AOmedia),VP9 ,Network protocols, device driver development.
• Hands-on experience with video streaming protocols: RTSP, RTP, RTCP, and adaptive streaming: HTTP Live Streaming (HLS)
• Experience in Multimedia applications, Multimedia frameworks (Gstreamer & Open MAX)
• Cross Development of Real-Time software on Linux, Ubuntu, and QNX.
• Experienced in overall architecture of product software including firmware, Linux /free RTOS, embedded application development and interaction with hardware designs.
• Excellent Programming Skills C, C++, Python
• Extensive knowledge on ARM and general purpose microcontrollers.
• Linux Kernel programming, device driver experience. Knowledge in one or more of the following: SPI, I2C, SDIO, NAND Flash, WiFi, Bluetooth.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, Firmware is essential.
• Knowledge of Image Signal Processing and Camera related development
• Experience in board bring up activities and able to understand schematics, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment utilizing collaboration skills.
• Strong technical leadership skills take ownership and work independently as well as in

a team. Able to come up with innovative solutions.

• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals.
• Good Debugging skills and hands on with coding and tool usage.
• Technically lead in High Level Design choices, software implementation, debugging, testing, etc.
