Sap Fico Consultant

Role & responsibilities

1. SAP FICO Support & Implementation

• Provide support for SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting, Banking, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
• Assist in the implementation of SAP solutions and enhancements based on business requirements.

2. Financial Process Optimization

• Conduct GAP analysis to identify process inefficiencies and provide resolutions.
• Ensure smooth execution of Month-End and Year-End closing processes.
• Work closely with finance teams to improve financial reporting and compliance.

3. Cross-Module Integration

• Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PS (Project Systems).
• Collaborate with business users to ensure end-to-end process automation and data flow consistency.

4. RICEF Development & Enhancement

• Guide technical teams in developing Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
• Assist in custom developments, including user exits and enhancements within SAP FICO.

5. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

• Work with SAP functional experts and IT teams to resolve incidents and technical issues.
• Support initial testing of problem fixes, system updates, and new functionalities.

6. Business Requirement Analysis & Documentation

• Analyse business requirements and map them to SAP FICO functionalities.
• Document configurations, changes, and enhancements for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with finance, IT, and senior management to align SAP solutions with business needs.
• Provide training and support to end-users on SAP FICO processes and best practices.

8. Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Ensure that SAP FICO configurations adhere to financial regulations and company policies.

Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and system reports

Prefered

• Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
• Understanding of data modeling, extractions, transformations, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Month-End and Year-End closing processes.
• Experience in conducting GAP analysis and providing resolutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements

Essential qualification

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SAP FICO certification (preferred but not mandatory).

5+ Years of experience as SAP Analyst
