Research Trainee (12 Months Contract)

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is primarily responsible for formulation & analytical product development, lab scale trials execution, lab maintenance, documentation with good documentation practice/ GxP. Support Manager in Lab and EHS management; Support Manager in Lab competency building. Support all lab scale activity like equipment maintenance, calibration, store and material management.

Role reports to: General Manager, Product Development

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Fresher, 0 1 year

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process development for new or identified products (Sterile injectables)

• Under general supervision of lab team leader, independently perform routine scientific research tasks using standard techniques, procedures and equipment.
• Adapt and optimize or develop new methods and procedures, actively contribute to the technical solution-finding process.
• Propose solutions and discuss with manager/R&D scientist.
• Show formulation / analytical development proficiency
• Assist and support lab scientist and technicians and cross-functional team in new product development.
• Handling expertly lab equipment.

Business Support

• Support overall lab development activity.

Compliance and Lab Administration

• Summarize and document results in lab journals, and prepare technical reports.
• Maintain a clean working laboratory environment and suitable working equipment.
• Perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab housekeeping) as assigned.
• Comply with regulations concerning quality, safety, health and environment

Others

• Support lab leader for project reviews, presentations, scientific reports preparations, literature search and analysis.
