Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Invoice and Orders Filing: Maintain accurate and organized records of all sales invoices and customer orders for future reference and audit purposes.
2. Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure adequate inventory for operations.
3. Transport Coordination: Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of goods.
4. Cash Voucher Entry: Record and maintain daily cash voucher transactions in the accounting system.
5. Export Documentation (2023-2024): Prepare and maintain all required export-related documents, ensuring compliance with regulations.
6. Shipping Bill Filing: Accurately file shipping bills and related documents in a timely manner.
7. Production Voucher Filing: Organize and manage production vouchers for inventory and accounting purposes.
8. Purchase Invoice Checking: Verify purchase invoices against orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
9. Journal Voucher Preparation: Prepare journal vouchers for adjustments and reconciliations in the accounting system.
10. Cash Voucher Entry: Ensure all cash transactions are properly documented and entered into the accounting system.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of export documentation and shipping procedures is preferred.
