Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for aAutomation QA Immediate Joiner at Pineswift Technologies. We are looking for an innovative and experienced quality analyst to join our team. The quality analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in Automation QA ( Mobile & WEB)
• Must be experienced in Selenium, API Testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure all objectives are met.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Rest Assured.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured, mobile application testing, and web application testing using Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix.
• Conduct API testing, mobile application testing, and web application testing.
• Write and execute SQL queries for database validation and data integrity checks.
• Set up test frameworks, test environments, and test data to execute automation test cases.
• Mandatory experience with Mobile Money, e-Wallet, Prepaid recharge, Credit Card Payment, USSD, and Commission solutions. Knowledge of Comviva Mobiquity solution is a plus.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team to deliver technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Operate within a Unix environment for testing purposes.
• Define test strategies, including what needs to be tested, how, and the associated risks.
• Collaborate with external teams to gather and understand requirements.
• Design and review test cases, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Slack, and Confluence for test management and communication.
• Conduct non-functional testing (performance and security) as required.
• Compile and analyze statistical data to improve testing processes.
• Ensure user expectations are met and that the software meets all industry regulatory requirements.
• Draft and update quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints and product issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Additional Skills:

• Be able to work independently, remotely and in multiple time zone
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Understanding of cross-cutting concerns including logging, monitoring, debugging, and security
• Knowledge of software design patterns: Creational, Structural, and Behavioural

Certifications:

• Certification in ISTQB is preferred
