You will be working as a Creative Designer and will be part of the Automotive business for clients projects based in India and abroad. In this role, you will report to the Design Studio Manager or Creative Design Manager. The purpose of this position is to conceptualize and deliver innovative designs for vehicles and accessories, focusing on aesthetic appeal, functionality, and user experience. Automotive studio experience is mandatory, and two-wheeler OEM experience is highly desirable. Job Location: Bengaluru, IN. Willingness to relocate/travel to client locations if work demands and visit the Trivandrum Office (Headquarters). Your Responsibilities: Conceptualize and create unique designs for vehicles, accessories, and related products from initial ideation to final presentation. Translate high-level customer needs into compelling design concepts that align with brand identity and usability standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital modelers, engineers, and prototype teams, to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs. Generate high-quality deliverables such as sketches, renderings, and design specifications to support project development. Focus on vehicle accessory design, enhancing the aesthetic and functional value of automotive products. Stay informed about the latest trends in automotive design, focusing on two-wheeler and accessory design innovations. Actively participate in client meetings, presenting ideas and concepts effectively. Contribute to the studios portfolio by producing standout designs that showcase creativity and expertise. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio environment. Your Background: Proven experience in automotive design, with a mandatory background in a design studio or automotive OEM. Two-wheeler OEM experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in vehicle accessory design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects. Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Autodesk Alias, or Blender. Strong aesthetic sensitivity, attention to detail, and an ability to interpret and deliver on design briefs effectively. Knowledge of automotive engineering principles and manufacturing processes. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results within deadlines. Awareness of global trends in automotive design, materials, and finishes. Fluent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with a professional approach to email communication. Qualification: B.Des/M.Des in Transportation Design, Product Design, or related fields. Candidates with B.Tech/M.Tech and design specializations supported by a competitive portfolio are also welcome. 4-8 years of relevant experience in a design studio or automotive OEM. Two-wheeler OEM experience is a significant plus.
