Project Manager - Security

1. Project Management and Delivery:

• Define priorities and scope to ensure on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource, schedule, and budget management.
• Drive project change initiatives effectively.
• Align projects with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

3. Governance and Compliance:

• Lead initiatives in Logging, Monitoring, ing, and Retention, adhering to best practices.
• Work in regulated environments, ensuring compliance with global regulations like GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Implement governance practices to manage risks effectively.

4. Team Coordination and Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, fostering collaboration to achieve common objectives.
• Work alongside project managers, control owners, business analysts, and technical specialists.
• Facilitate improvements in IT Operations Management for efficient and scalable processes.

5. Process Improvement:

• Evaluate and enhance processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Develop and implement best practices for project delivery.

6. Risk and Issue Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage issues and dependencies proactively to avoid delays.
• Develop robust incident management processes for security and operational incidents.
• Oversee projects improving IT Asset Management for comprehensive asset tracking.

7. Documentation:

• Prepare essential project documents, including project charters, plans, status reports, performance reports, and closeout reports.

1. Experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience.

2. Project Management Skills:

• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA and Microsoft Project.

3. Education and Certification:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Controls and KCIs for risk management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, strategies, and disaster recovery scenarios.

1. Banking Domain Expertise:

• Understanding of banking operations, core systems, and payment platforms.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks (NIST, COBIT).

2. Process Optimization:

• Experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

3. Additional Technical Expertise:

• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and ing tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of network security fundamentals, including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of IT asset and operations management tools.
• Awareness of operational resilience principles in financial environments.
