Job Title: Workday UK Payroll Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a Workday UK Payroll Consultant to support and lead global Workday payroll projects, either from a project or AMS/in-production perspective. This role involves hands-on experience with all stages of the Workday payroll project lifecycle and the ability to manage complex payroll-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all stages of the Workday Payroll project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, and deployment for Workday Payroll modules (with a focus on the UK, and US payroll expertise being highly desirable).
• Take ownership of in-scope Workday payroll configuration, collaborating closely with functional leads and EM/PM.
• Listen to client requests, assess actual client needs, provide subject matter expertise, propose alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
• Contribute to the development of internal resources through mentoring, coaching, and directing work.
• Stay up to date with payroll-related updates and policy changes.
• Build the UST brand by participating in Workday payroll product groups/chats.

Knowledge, Education, Skills Technical Proficiencies:

• 3+ years of relevant experience with UK Workday Payroll. US payroll experience is also highly desirable.
• Ideally certified in Workday UK Payroll, with the ability and interest to certify in other Workday payroll regions (e.g., US, France, or Australia). As a certified partner, UST will invest in your certification.
• Previous consulting experience (either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization) is preferred.
• Strong ability to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards.
• High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Launch deployment methodology (preferred, not required).
