Job Title: Production Support Engineer
Location: Trivandrum, Kochi, Hyderabad

We are seeking a dedicated Production Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production environments, resolving issues, and providing timely support. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve any production issues while maintaining high system availability and performance.

• Monitor and manage production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues reported in the production environment.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems as per on-call rotation schedule.
• Perform incident management, problem management, and change management in production systems.
• Assist in performance tuning and optimization of production systems.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to production support processes.
• Participate in post-mortem reviews of major incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Experience in Production Support or Application Support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and basic scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.).
• Expertise in database management (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a production environment quickly.
• Experience with incident management tools and processes.
• Good understanding of web-based applications and their architecture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Knowledge of containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and tuning tools (AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.).
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
• Ability to work with Java, Python, or other scripting languages for automation tasks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of experience in a Production Support role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
