The Opportunity :
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Major Incident Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing, analyzing, and documenting critical service-impacting events, as well as supporting change management processes. This role requires leadership abilities, particularly in leading meetings with key stakeholders and senior leadership, and a keen understanding of CMDB and ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit, analyze, and document critical service-impacting events.
Serve as a backup in change management processes.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, direct responses, and follow up on resolutions.
Handle and periodically train others on major incident process workflow,
Assist in improving current processes through automation.
Undertake minor project work as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in major incident management or a related field.
Strong understanding and ability to read Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and relationships.
Proficiency in using ServiceNow.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead meetings with key stakeholders, higher-ups or senior leadership, and conduct instructor-led training.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have:
Experience in process improvement and automation.
Relevant certifications in ITIL or similar frameworks.
