Job Title : ETL Developer

Location : Trivandrum, Kochi

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes. You will play a key role in data integration, data quality, and business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to define data integration requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting and transforming structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing proper validation and transformation rules.
• Implement and monitor job schedules to ensure timely data availability.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshoot data issues with source systems and processes.
• Document processes, data flows, and ETL pipelines.
• Work with other team members to implement data solutions and support data warehousing efforts.

Mandatory Skills :

• Proven experience as an ETL Developer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in ETL tools like Informatica , Talend , or Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) .
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with data modeling, data mapping, and data transformation processes.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python , Shell , or PowerShell .
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and testing techniques.
• Ability to work with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud .
• Experience in debugging and optimizing complex SQL queries.

Good to Have Skills :

• Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark .
• Familiarity with cloud-based ETL services such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory .
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau .
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.

Experience :

• 7+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.

Education :

• Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
