Linux System Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE servers in a BFSI environment.
• Ensure system stability, security, and high availability across production and test environments.

Performance Optimization & Monitoring

• Monitor system performance, fine-tune configurations, and optimize resource utilization.
• Use tools like LogicMonitor, Big Panda, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk for proactive monitoring and logging.

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices , conduct vulnerability assessments, and apply system hardening techniques.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2 , and other BFSI industry standards.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible for system administration and process efficiency.
• Implement configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Incident & Problem Management

• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux-related issues efficiently.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Design, implement, and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Cloud & Virtualization

• Support Linux workloads in AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments.
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.

5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration .
Strong expertise in RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux distributions.
Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation.
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPNs in Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Knowledge of databases ( MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle ) in Linux environments.
Awareness of BFSI security and compliance requirements .
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
