Technical Project Manager - Data Science

Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Techno-functional Program Manager with a strong technical foundation in Data Science. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, delivery methodologies, and stakeholder management. The role requires working on-site at the customer office in Mumbai, with the delivery team distributed and operating remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement Agile cadences.
• Manage sprints and releases effectively.
• Collaborate with product owners to define, refine, and prioritize user stories based on clear definitions of "ready" and "done."
• Set up and maintain releases/sprints in JIRA while overseeing the creation and management of user stories.
• Coordinate all project activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure all deliverables meet timelines as committed in the SOW and sprint plans.
• Provide status reports tailored to multiple stakeholder levels, from granular drill-downs to high-level summaries.
• Baseline, track, and report on agreed metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for deviations from commitments or KPIs.
• Serve as a mentor in Agile processes for both the customer and internal teams.
• Create and maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrices, with regular reporting.

• Proven ability to manage distributed delivery teams remotely.
• Quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to the customers domain.
• Demonstrated success in identifying new business opportunities.
• Lateral thinker with a focus on quality, innovation, and automation.
• Previous experience with data-related projects, preferably Data Science projects.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic understanding of Data Science project delivery methodologies.
