We areseeking a highly experienced and skilled Azure Solution Architect to join ourdynamic team and lead the design and implementation of Azure-based solutions.Lead the team Project initiation and delivery.
Summary
TheMicrosoft 365 Project Manager is responsible for the management and support ofMicrosoft 365 cloud services and their implementation as well as the end-userproductivity environment. This position provides technical leadership projectmanagement from project inception through implementation and operationincluding design and delivery and adoption of Office 365 tools, including, butnot limited to Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft SharePoint Online,Power Automate, .Net, C#, Intune and Azure Active Directory. This role workswith IT leadership, technical staff, the Program Management Office andcustomers to define requirements, evaluate solutions, implement projects, andmanage solutions that achieve business objectives with a focus on user adoptionof cloud tools.
Responsibilities
- Providetechnical leadership for the deployment and use of Microsoft 365 tools, inparticular (but not limited to) Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams,OneDrive, Power Automate, .Net, C#, Intune and other apps features likePlanner, Forms, OneNote, etc. and Azure Active Directory,
- Leadand manage projects using Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Leadand manage technical projects
Excellentknowledge in Microsoft Project plan and software task breakdown
- Facilitatedaily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Workwith IT leadership, end-users, and team members to define businessrequirements, determine priorities, recommend solutions, and develop scopes ofwork and implementation plans.
- Serveas project manager for the Microsoft 365 Enterprise initiative creating projectplans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, risk logs, issueslogs, status reports, and performance metrics from concept through the fullproject lifecycle.
- Providecoordination, monitoring, status updates, and oversight of the Microsoft 365project in coordination with the Senior Director, Network Services
- Coordinatethe efforts of M365 project team members and third-party contractors and/orconsultants to deliver the M365 project on time meeting budget requirements.
- Administer,manage, and implement changes to the enterprise Microsoft 365 environmentincluding on-premise hybrid integrations such as Microsoft Active DirectoryFederated Services (ADFS) and Azure Active Directory Connect, SSO andConnectors to 3rd Party apps.
- Providesecond level support services to staff for complex, technical and configurationissues related to Microsoft 365 applications
- Staycurrent on Office 365 changes, updates and new Microsoft releases for Office365 and related products
- Providetraining and keeping staff/users engaged on Microsoft 365 changes that impactthe organization.
- Identify,research, and keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies, solutions,strategies, and developments with the goal of identifying opportunities fortheir use.
- Workcollaboratively with other members of the IT team to ensure security standardsand best practices are applied and maintained across the Office 365environment.
RequirementsAboutYou
- Bachelor\u2019sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or relevant field
- Minimum5 \u2013 8+years\u2019 experience in a project lead role
- Successworking in an Agile/SCRUM environment preferred
- Demonstratedsuccess collaborating with various teams in the delivery of project/programsolutions
- Excellentcommunication and influencing skills; demonstrated success building buy-in
- Flexible,adaptable; comfortable with ambiguity and responding factually, accurately, quicklyto rapidly evolving risks and opportunities
- Strongbias for action; ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities and createa sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Eagernessand willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meetteam/program/project and customer goals
TechnicalQualifications
- Extensiveexperience with Microsoft Office 365 administration, engineering, architectureand design.
- Expertknowledge of and experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online,OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate and other apps features like Planner, Forms,One Note, etc.
- Extensiveexperience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- Demonstratedwork experience with project management at the organizational level reportinginto Senior Leadership.
- Familiarwith various Project Management Methodologies with ability to assess bestproject management methodology for successful project delivery.
- Generalknowledge of networking concepts, technologies, structured database andapplication/web servers including SharePoint Demonstrated understanding of andexperience with IT security best practices including mitigation and remediationstrategies at an enterprise-level.
- Basicscripting and development skills using PowerShell
- Oneor more Office 365 certifications is a plus
