Lead II - Software Engineering

Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day to day project execution.

Outcomes:

1. Interpret the application feature and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
2. Code debug test document and communicate product component and feature development stages.
3. Validate results with user representatives integrating and commissions the overall solution.
4. Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts

  Experience: o 12-15 years of experience in data engineering and ETL development, with a strong focus on Azure Data Factory (ADF) , SSIS and SQL. o Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL workflows and processes for high-volume, complex data environments. o Extensive hands-on experience with high-performance data processing and data integration strategies. Technical Skills: o Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), including building and managing pipelines for large-scale ETL processes. o Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, complex data transformations, and working with large datasets. o Experience implementing complex business logic in ETL processes, including data validation, transformation, and enrichment. o Knowledge of cloud data storage solutions such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage. o Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies like SSIS, Databricks, or Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus. o Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing ETL pipelines to manage high-volume data. o Excellent knowledge in creating stored procedure, views, function etc. Soft Skills: o Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive business discussions and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Strong problem-solving ability, capable of tackling complex data engineering challenges and implementing efficient solutions. o Ability to handle multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and meet deadlines.
