Senior Data Governance Analyst

Premier International is hiring an experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key player in driving the implementation and enhancement of data governance practices to support business needs and ensure data quality and compliance.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Data Governance Strategy:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement a comprehensive data governance framework.
• Lead efforts to design, configure, and optimize data governance solutions, leveraging platforms like Collibra (preferred) or Informatica suite of products (good to have).
• KPIs & Metrics:
• Define and establish KPIs and metrics for data governance, data quality, and data management to ensure that data governance initiatives are effectively measured and monitored.
• Workshops & Requirement Gathering:
• Conduct workshops and requirements gathering sessions with both business and technical teams to identify data governance requirements and define actionable solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to define a clear plan for the rollout of data governance programs across the organization.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage with various stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and data governance requirements.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of data governance practices.
• Data Governance Tools & Platforms:
• Administer and configure Collibra and other data governance tools to manage data stewardship, data quality, and data privacy initiatives.
• Exposure to other platforms such as Informatica (EDC, IDQ, Axon) and BigID is advantageous.
• Data Privacy & Security:
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Good to have: Exposure to privacy-related compliance frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, etc.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Experience & Technical Skills:
• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Governance, with a proven track record of successfully driving data governance initiatives.
• 4+ years of experience in configuring and administering Collibra (preferred) or Informatica suite of products (good to have).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data management, and data quality principles and best practices.
• Good to have: Collibra DG Certification or similar qualifications.
• Good to have: Exposure to other platforms like Informatica (EDC, IDQ, Axon) and BigID.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Strong communication skills to facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, and collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Ability to explain complex data governance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess data governance needs and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to define clear KPIs and metrics for evaluating the success of data governance and management efforts.
• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
