Senior Data Governance Technical Steward

• Core Responsibilities:
• Data Governance & Management:
• Define KPIs and metrics for effective data governance and management.
• Set up source systems, manage scan profiles and schedules, and review scan results.
• Define and set up Data Quality (DQ) rules and establish DQ KPIs.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions and workshops with both business and technical teams to understand and align on data governance and management needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and operation of data governance programs.
• Technical Stewardship:
• Ensure the integrity, privacy, and security of data across systems.
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance on data governance processes, tools, and best practices.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

• Experience:
• 6+ years of professional experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience configuring and managing Collibra (preferred) or Informatica suite of products (good to have).
• Strong expertise in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality principles and best practices.
• Good to have: Collibra DG certification.
• Good to have: Exposure to privacy and security aspects in data governance.
• Good to have: Knowledge of additional platforms like Informatica (EDC, IDQ, Axon) and BigID.

• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Collibra or similar Data Governance platforms.
• Experience with other governance and quality tools, such as Informatica (EDC, IDQ, Axon) and BigID, is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and trends in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality.
• Ability to configure and manage data governance tools, enforce data standards, and monitor data quality metrics.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Certifications:
• Good to have: Collibra DG certification.
• Good to have: Exposure to privacy and security frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
