Data Migration Developer

Premier International is hiring an experienced Data Migration Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be a critical member of the team, working in the Data Migration domain to ensure the successful migration of data across systems to meet business requirements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data Migration & Transformation:
• Design and execute complex SQL queries, leveraging data cleansing techniques, improving data quality, and planning migration activities to ensure seamless data transfers.
• Develop, design, and maintain custom solutions using multiple programming tools, including SQL, Excel, VBA, and PowerShell.
• Project Planning & Coordination:
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand data migration needs.
• Contribute to project planning tasks, providing accurate estimates of delivery dates and managing escalations to ensure successful migration timelines.
• ERP Systems Exposure:
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, Workday, and SAP to understand their data models and ensure smooth data migration.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives, covering both As-Is and To-Be data environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers and Business Analysts, to address data-related challenges and support data-driven initiatives.
• Data Analysis & Insights:
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that will support migration planning and post-migration validation.
• Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Data Governance & Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures throughout the migration process.
• Document data analysis methodologies, processes, and outcomes for reference and knowledge sharing.

What Youll Bring to the Team:

• Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in data migration.
• Proficient in designing and executing complex SQL queries and utilizing data cleansing techniques.
• Strong experience with Excel, VBA, and PowerShell for custom data migration solutions.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, Workday, and SAP is a plus.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Ability to work independently and manage migration projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams to ensure data migration success.
• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
