We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices. The DevOps Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and overall cloud strategy.
You will:
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers both in India and USA
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth code deployment.
Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT staff to oversee code releases.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Ensure the scalability, availability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and respond to issues promptly.
Implement and maintain security best practices within the DevOps processes.
Integrate security tools and practices into the DevOps pipeline, including static and dynamic analysis, software composition analysis (SCA), vulnerability scanning, and security monitoring.
Manage AWS cloud environments and optimize for cost and performance.
Create and maintain documentation related to DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices and processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our systems and practices current.
Must-have qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in DevOps, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Team City, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with infrastructure automation configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible or similar
Deep understanding of AWS cloud platforms
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Experience with monitoring tools such as NewRelic, Datadog, Splunk or similar
Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
