The Skills That Are Key to This Role
Technical/ Behavioral
10+ years of experience in Data engineering.
Extensive experience in different database platforms both RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Experience in distributed SQL databases like CockroachDB is a plus.
Hands-on experience in Snowflake.
Exposure to Data warehousing, data lake ,data lakehouse
Proficient in Data pipeline orchestration.
Proficient in change data capture, working knowledge in Kafka.
Experience in data replication tools like HVR, STRIIM is a plus.
Robust experience in Data Modelling and knowledge in dimensional modelling techniques.
Experience building and maintaining curated production data pipelines with data governance processes in place.
Proficient in anyone of the programming languages (Python or go)
Evaluate all functional requirements and map documents and perform troubleshoot on all development processes.
Good knowledge in working of REST APIs, ability to read documentation and make calls to read or write data using API.
The Skills That Are Good to Have for This Role
Experience in use of AWS Data services like DMS, SCT, RDS, Aurora, Redshift etc.
Experience or subject knowledge in Redis and Elasticsearch.
Clear understanding of query planning
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written English
Adept at version control tools GIT Stash, build tools like Maven.
Experience in working with different kinds of hosted infrastructure.
Ability to learn new concepts and technologies in strict timelines
Must be adaptable in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings.
Experience with cloud data warehousing and data lake solutions is a plus
The Expertise We re Looking For
5 to 10 years of Data Engineer experience
AWS Solutions Architect certification - Preferred
B.E. or MCA
