Job Summary:
Photon is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in advanced analytics, statistics, and predictive modeling. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to design, develop, and implement machine learning models and data-driven strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive insights, improve decision-making, and optimize business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced machine learning models to address business challenges.
• Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including Linear Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, and Clustering methods.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and trends, providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to define data requirements and develop scalable solutions.
• Conduct hypothesis testing, model validation, and performance tuning for predictive models.
• Present findings and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and management.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science, ensuring best practices are implemented.

Qualifications:

• 4 to 9 years of experience in advanced analytics, statistics, or predictive modeling.
• Proven expertise in supervised learning techniques (e.g., Linear Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost) and unsupervised learning (e.g., Clustering techniques).
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other data science languages.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with big data platforms and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
