Job Description

Job Summary:

The Manager B2B (Business to Business) will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the firms relationships with institutional clients, including other wealth management firms, financial advisors, corporations, and third-party intermediaries. This role requires strategic thinking, market knowledge, and strong relationship management skills to drive growth and profitability within the business-to-business segment of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Lead Generation:
    • Identify and generate new business opportunities in the B2B space by targeting financial institutions, corporate clients, and intermediaries.
    • Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate new markets and verticals.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential partner organizations.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build long-term, strategic relationships with key business partners, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions that meet client needs.
  3. Product & Service Offering:
    • Work closely with product teams to understand the firm’s wealth management solutions and services.
    • Tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of B2B clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
    • Communicate the value proposition of the firm’s wealth management services to institutional clients and partners.
  4. Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for the B2B segment.
    • Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and contract negotiations with potential clients.
    • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product, compliance, and legal to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of client solutions.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure client needs are met and challenges are addressed quickly.
  6. Market Research & Insights:
    • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and threats.
    • Provide feedback to senior management on market trends, competitive landscape, and client preferences.
  7. Contract Management & Negotiation:
    • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring that the terms align with the firm's business objectives and profitability goals.
    • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from proposal through to execution and post-sale support.
  8. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Establish KPIs to measure the success of B2B sales activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide regular performance reports and feedback to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or relationship management, ideally within the wealth management, financial services, or investment sectors.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key client relationships.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and financial markets.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and identify solutions.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  4. Personal Traits:
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-focused.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
