Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist specializing in AI for Computer Vision to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include developing, fine-tuning, and optimizing AI models for computer vision applications, driving innovation in various healthcare applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including machine learning engineers, software developers, and product managers, to deliver state-of-the-art AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

Proficient with computer vision, image processing concepts, theories, techniques
Explore and develop innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for healthcare applications.
Design, train, and fine-tune Deep Learning models for various healthcare applications on data from various imaging modalities.
Gather, clean, and preprocess large-scale image and video datasets for training and evaluation of computer vision models
Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning techniques for segmentation, classification, and statistical modeling.
Demonstrate expertise in image processing, object detection, segmentation, and classification.
Proficient in Python programming.
Possess a strong understanding of algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
Have a strong affinity with statistical modeling and robust experimental designs
Experienced with version control systems (eg, Git) and software development practices.

Good to Have

Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and related technologies.
Deployment & Scaling: Work with ML engineers to deploy models into production environments using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
Domain Knowledge : Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), or multimodal AI applications.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into business processes and applications.
Publications and Contributions : Strong publication record or contributions to open-source AI projects.

Youre the right fit if:

bachelors or masters Degree : In computer science, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Experience : 5+ years in machine learning, deep learning, or AI research, with at least 3 year of hands-on experience in developing computer vision-based AI applications.
Programming Proficiency : Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Technical Skills : Familiarity with computer vision techniques and fine-tuning of models.
Problem-Solving Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
MLOps Tools : Hands-on experience with MLOps tools (eg, MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
Ethical AI : Understanding of ethical AI and bias mitigation in computer vision models.

It was a good company earlier not now

Dislikes

Philips is not doing well after the loss and billion dollar suite. Join on your own risk. Initial pay is good and no hikes there after. Now a new lawsuit in UK also . Don't know wat happens now . Some senior architects expect us to get results which they know although there are may different approaches.
