Senior Accountant/ Assistant Manager

Job Description:

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Tracking of Actuals with Budgets and providing regular forecast.
• Assists in developing the Capex for prompt management approval.
• Cost Control-
• Monitoring project costs and identifying areas where costs can be reduced or controlled.
• This may involve analyzing variances between actual and budgeted costs and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Financial Reporting:
• Preparing and presenting financial reports related to project performance.
• This will include data for Budget Vs Actuals, Advances analysis, MRR Tracking, as well as project-specific reports for stakeholders.
• Billing and Invoicing:
• Assisting in timely IAF processing.
• Ensuring that invoices are accurate and submitted in a timely manner to maintain positive cash flow for the project.
• Contract Management:
• Commercial review contracts and ensuring Milestones invoicing is received on time and payment telexes sent and that financial terms and conditions are understood and adhered to.
• This may involve working closely with project managers and legal
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with DOA & company policies.
• Communication& Collaboration:
• Seamless communication & Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial objectives and project goals.
• This will involve participating in project meetings, providing financial guidance, and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Additional Skills:

• IFRS/Ind AS Knowledge
• ERP Knowledge
• Preferred Experience in Petrochemicals/Refinery/Fertilizers/Cement/Smelting/Steel/Chemicals
• P2P, R2R and O2C
• Cashflow Management
