We are seeking a highly passionate and experienced professional to lead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for all our employees. The Diversity Equity and Inclusion lead will advance Persistent Systems' DEI strategy and will work with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders to create business plans, track progress, manage budgets, and align the program with company objectives and governance requirements. To be successful in this role, you should be a subject matter expert in D&I related initiatives and knowledge of human rights legislation. Ultimately, you will ensure that we provide equal opportunities to all candidates and employees regardless of their protected characteristics.

What You'll Do:


Employ:


  • Strategy Development to Increase overall diversity within the organization
  • Revise and update all communication on job descriptions and internal documents to ensure they have use non-discriminatory language
  • Review our selection criteria to verify theyre objective and strictly job-related

Engage:


  • Guide and work with employee resource groups of the country or region to drive and build an inclusive culture for all.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Organizational Development, and other People Organization and business functions to ensure that Diversity Equity and Inclusion framework and inclusive goals set forth by the organization are achieved through key programs and processes.
  • Create, Track and apply Diversity Equity and Inclusion metrics to inform how and what we implement.

Enable:


  • Ensure compliance with state or country regulations on diversity and equity
  • Draw upon internal and external Diversity Equity and Inclusion data and insights to create, manage, and implement regional Diversity Equity and Inclusion programs and initiatives aligned with the Corporate DEI strategy Revise or create inclusive policies that will position Persistent as an employer of choice
  • Provide subject matter expertise and partner closely with People Business Partner organization to provide diversity support to various geographies where Persistent Systems has offices.
  • Recommend benefits packages that cater to all employees
  • Enhance the digital and physical accessibility of Persistent

  • Organize trainings to boost employees communication abilities and team spirit
  • Act as an advocate to underrepresented groups and make sure all voices are heard

Expertise You'll Bring:


  • 10+ years of relevant Diversity Equity and Inclusion experience with 2-3 years of experience in HR.
  • Candidates should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in HR and specialization in Diversity and inclusion with certification.
  • Hands-on experience designing company policies
  • Good knowledge of labor and human rights legislations
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. and recommend interventions based on representation trends across levels and demographic groups across the enterprise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills should be to work effectively with colleagues of varying seniorities both within and outside their own team.
  • The candidates should be willing to take on challenging, high-impact projects and lead programs from strategy to execution while advising senior leaders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel and MS Power Point.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial management principles is good to have.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and in a global team within.
