Persistent Systems - Healthcare Enterprise Architect - TOGAF/Zachman Framework (15-16 yrs)

About the Role :

As a seasoned Healthcare Enterprise Architect, you will play a critical role in defining and driving the technology strategy for our healthcare clients. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and innovative solutions that address complex business challenges within the healthcare domain. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps and strategies aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

- Define and implement architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for healthcare solutions.

- Lead the design and implementation of complex healthcare IT solutions, including cloud-based platforms, on-premises infrastructure, and system integrations.

- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, GxP, GDPR, and HITECH.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to address evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and communicate architectural solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, and their applications in healthcare.

- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.

- Present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years of experience in healthcare IT.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise architecture solutions in a healthcare setting.

- Deep understanding of healthcare industry standards, protocols, and systems (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM, Epic, Cerner, Facets, HealthEdge, Veeva).

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their healthcare-specific offerings.

- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks e.g., TOGAF, Zachman and methodologies.

- Proficiency in modern development methodologies, tools, and programming languages.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
