Training Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Training Officer to develop and deliver training programs that ensure the competency, vigilance, and professionalism of security personnel. The ideal candidate will focus on equipping teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to handle safety, security, and emergency scenarios effectively while maintaining compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Development & Delivery:

• Design, develop, and implement security training programs, including physical security, access control, incident response, and surveillance.
• Conduct training sessions on emergency preparedness, conflict resolution, and customer service.
• Provide on-site training as required.

2. Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure training content aligns with local laws, industry standards, and organizational security policies.
• Keep security personnel updated on the latest safety procedures and technologies.

3. Incident Simulations & Drills:

• Plan and execute mock drills, including fire safety, evacuation, and emergency response scenarios.
• Evaluate team performance during simulations and recommend improvements.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain training records, attendance, and certification logs for all personnel.
• Prepare detailed reports on training effectiveness and suggest updates to programs.

Requirements:

Education:

• Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
• Certification in security training or related programs (e.g., SIRA, PSP, CPP) is highly desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in security services or training roles.
• Prior experience in delivering training to security personnel is a plus.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of security systems, protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct physical training and manage large groups.
• Familiarity with incident reporting tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform and demonstrate physical security tasks.
• Good physical fitness and stamina to lead training exercises.
