Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Head of B2B Corporate Sales to lead our corporate sales division at Peraj Insurance Broker, a leading Insurance broker. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire B2B sales strategy, driving growth through new client acquisition, managing key accounts, and ensuring a high-performing sales team. You will play a key leadership role in positioning our company as a leader in the corporate insurance market.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy Development & Execution:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B corporate sales strategy aligned with the companys overall business goals.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth across different market segments (large enterprises, SMEs, public sector, etc.).
    • Continuously assess and refine the sales approach to stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity.

Client Relationship & Key Account Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in key corporate accounts.
    • Oversee the management and growth of major client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering deep partnerships.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions.

Business Development & Pipeline Management:

    • Oversee the business development process, ensuring a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities through strategic prospecting and networking.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns targeting potential corporate clients.
    • Ensure a consistent flow of high-quality prospects while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Sales Operations & Performance Monitoring:

    • Analyze sales metrics and KPIs to evaluate team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
    • Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline development, and key market insights to senior management.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:

    • Collaborate with other departments (underwriting, risk management, claims, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery for corporate clients.
    • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to design solutions that align with client expectations.
    • Provide leadership on new product development and pricing strategies to ensure offerings are competitive and meet market demand.

Brand Positioning & Market Leadership:

    • Champion the company's brand in the corporate space, acting as an advocate for our services and solutions in the marketplace.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and build industry relationships.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in B2B sales leadership, with significant experience in corporate insurance sales or financial services.
  • Proven Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience managing, developing, and motivating a sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Insurance Expertise: Deep knowledge of corporate insurance products (e.g., property, liability, employee benefits, health, life insurance) and industry regulations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic sales plans that align with company objectives.
  • Sales Performance: Proven track record of successfully managing large B2B sales teams and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data, assess market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex client needs and find innovative solutions that add value to the client and the company.
