Director-Unified Communication & Collaboration

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Manage a high-intensity and brilliant team of architects, engineers and operation leads within the UCC area to deliver consistent, reliable communication and collaboration services across the organization
• Budget Management: Developing, forecasting, and adhering to the communication and collaboration budget to ensure cost-effective operations
• Vendor Management: Selecting and managing relationships with multiple suppliers and vendors to ensure that the services provided meet the required standards and contribute to the organizations goals
• Innovation: Driving innovation in the UCC space to enhance business processes, improve user experience, and maintain a competitive edge for PepsiCo
• Daily management and operations of all UCC environments, including Global voice, Contact center, Messaging, Collaboration, Modern Communication tools, applications and services.
• Collaboration Enablement: Facilitating effective collaboration and hybrid work environments through the deployment and management of UCC tools and services
• Policy and Compliance: Ensuring that all UCC initiatives comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies
• Technology Integration: Overseeing the integration of UCC tools with other IT systems to create a seamless user experience and optimize business processes.
• Relationship: Work with the broader IT and business organization to deliver solutions, serve as a subject matter expert in UCC technology, manage governance and compliance to the standards, and drive focus on delivering an excellent employee experience.

Who are we looking for?

• A leader with strong communications and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities and projects at the same time
• Degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 15+ years of applicable IT and Leadership experience.

Technical Skills Required:

• 15+ years of experience managing people of varying levels.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the field of UCC, with experience in architecting, designing, and implementing advanced UCC solutions
• A strong understanding of UCC technologies and infrastructure, including cloud services, security, and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of UCC applications such as voice call control, audio/video/web conferencing, IM/presence, CDR, E-911, voice/fax, and unified messaging
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 services and administration, including a good understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
• Experience with vendor performance management, including development and monitoring of SOWs and deliverables, SLA compliance, and general vendor relationship management.
• Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate and present to different audiences such as senior leadership, cross-functional business groups, or technical staff.
• Well-developed skills in presentation building and process mapping.
• Deep knowledge of and experience with collaboration and conflict resolution.
