ETL Developer - Google Cloud Platform (5-9 yrs)

Job Description :

- Translating requirements into high level design for transformation.

- Development of ETL pipelines based on the design.

- Develop stored procedures if required to support the ETL pipeline.

- Develop highly optimized queries to ingest data into relational database.

- Develop external code using 4GL programming language including Linux shell scripts.

- Support migration from on-premise to cloud native ETL solution.

- Work within an Agile sprint team.

- Technology skills (Mandatory).

- ETL Tools IBM DataStage an asset 5+ Must be fluent with ETL tools.

- Good knowledge of relational database 5+ Must develop optimized queries.

- Having knowledge of Teradata will be an asset.

- Google cloud is an asset ( Azure / AWS).

- Experience in Kafka.

- Knowledge of 4gl programing languages 1yr+ Capable of writing Linux Shell scripting as well as Python code ( script) Required qualifications to be successful in this role.

- Computer Science or Engineering Degree/Diploma or Equivalent Experience.

- 5+ years' experience as a ETL Developer using ETL tools.

- 5+ years' experience working with relational database.

- 3+ years' experience working with high volume data ingestion.

- 3+ years' experience working with Cloud native databases and ETL solutions.

- Exposure to fourth generation programing language such as python.

- Capable of working as an individual contributor and as part of an agile team member.

- Motivated individuals to drive ETL best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
