Channel Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, distributors, and alliances.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with the necessary support, resources, and training to drive sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment of channel strategies with overall business objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to evaluate performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and partner feedback to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and implement channel marketing programs, promotions, and incentives to stimulate partner engagement and drive sales.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, partner profitability, and market share.
- Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to promote brand awareness and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in channel sales management, with at least 5+ years of experience in IT sales.
- Deep understanding of channel sales methodologies, partner ecosystems, and distribution channels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor channel partners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans and initiatives.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.
