Learning & Development Specialist
We are hiring for one of the world's oldest and most prominent industrial companies.
Role & responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Program Design: Design innovative and engaging learning programs tailored to the needs of employees across corporate offices and plant locations.
3. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and effective training materials, resources, and curriculum.
4. Delivery and Execution: Oversee the delivery and execution of learning initiatives, ensuring high-quality facilitation, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
5. Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
6. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, HR business partners, and external training providers, to ensure alignment and support for learning initiatives.
7. Leadership Development: Design and implement leadership development programs to identify and nurture talent at all levels of the organization.
8. Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by developing and delivering learning interventions that facilitate employee adaptation and skill development.
9. Technology Integration: Stay abreast of emerging learning technologies and trends, and leverage technology solutions to enhance learning experiences and increase accessibility. 10. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure all learning and development activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
11. Budget Management: Develop and manage the learning and development budget, optimizing resources to achieve maximum impact and ROI
Preferred candidate profile:
1. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale learning initiatives from conception to implementation.
2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
4. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
5. Knowledge of learning theories, instructional design principles, and adult learning methodologies.
6. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
7. Certification in instructional design, training facilitation, or related fields is a plus.
