We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead and drive technology strategies and initiatives across our organization in the Indian manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of proven success in a similar CIO role, preferably in industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, Energy, or Power. This position will report directly to the Chairman and the Board, with a primary focus on enhancing technology-driven growth, fostering innovation, and achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business objectives and local market dynamics.
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise software solutions, ensuring they are scalable and efficient to support our manufacturing operations.
Application Development & Enhancements:
- Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of applications to meet the evolving needs of our manufacturing processes.
- Ensure seamless integration and optimization of enterprise applications to drive productivity.
Information & Cyber Security:
- Drive the development of robust information security and cyber resilience strategies tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Implement proactive measures to protect our organizational data and IT systems against cyber threats.
Infrastructure, Cloud, & Automation:
- Lead initiatives aimed at modernizing our IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud adoption and automation relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Promote digital transformation and operational efficiency through innovative technologies, including IoT and AI integration.
Governance & Compliance:
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards specific to the manufacturing industry and internal policies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate closely with the Chairman, Board, and executive leadership to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with broader business goals.
- Communicate complex technology strategies effectively to non-technical stakeholders across the organization and supply chain.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a CIO or in a similar senior IT leadership role for a minimum of 4-5 years.
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, Energy, or Power sectors is strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in leading enterprise software development and implementation projects relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience in application development, information security, and cyber security measures adaptable to industry-specific needs.
- Proficient in infrastructure modernization, cloud technologies, and automation initiatives critical for operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Reporting Structure:
- This position will report directly to the Chairman and the Board.
