Your Job Role Summary:

You will play a crucial role in developing and improving products related to fluid control systems. Your responsibilities will include designing, analysing, and optimizing various components, ensuring they meet industry standards, performance requirements, and safety guidelines. Your key deliverables will be:

1. Create and modify 2D and 3D design drawings using software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
2. Conduct research and analyze data to support the design process.
3. Work with senior engineers to develop and improve products, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
4. Creation of Bill of Materials, GADs, Manufacturing drawings etc.
5. Collaborate with other departments such as manufacturing, quality control, and purchasing to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
6. Support sales & marketing literature, technical documentation like IOMs, brochures, TDS etc.

Essential Qualification:

Diploma or BE- Mechanical Engineering.

Work Experience:

3 to 6 years of experience in Design/NPD Role in the Steam Trap/Valve Industry.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in valve design preferred but not mandatory.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials used in valve industry.
• Strong mechanical engineering design fundamentals, and engineering tools like e.g. SolidWorks, Auto CAD etc.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.
• Internal & external customer service that includes on time submittal of engineering documentation for customer quotation and orders.
• Closely working with sales team to offer engineered solution to specific customer. Provide technical support as and when necessary.
• Technical support & assist in resolution of manufacturing problem as required.
• Good knowledge of BOM structure, change control process like DCR, ERN, Deviation etc.
